SUMMARY:Box it Up!
DESCRIPTION:Drop Into Art offers a day of learning and discovery for children at the Danforth Art Museum every second Sunday of the month. Explore the galleries\, be inspired by art\, and get creative! Each month introduces a new theme connecting art\, stories\, and hands-on fun. Families with children of all ages are welcome. \nAll sessions are held from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. No registration is required and walk-ins welcome! \n  \n \n Join us as we tour the galleries at the Danforth Art Museum to see the many versions of boxes on view- \nboxes made out of clay\, old wooden crates\, paintings of fruit in a box and more. \nWe use boxes to hold things\, but also for shipping and even decoration. \nHave fun creating an origami box in the museum\, then head upstairs to the Danforth Art School studios to build a sculpture using recycled cardboard boxes to take home.
